The Berlin Jacket is one of my favorite patterns – I love the style lines on the pattern, I think it has a really impressive looking end result, and I don’t even have to tell anyone that it was one of the easier things I sewed this year. Or that it took me less than 2 hours. I can just humble brag that yes, I sewed my coat, and yes, I know it is awesome… And keep those other little bits to myself!

Minerva recently released a brand new line of exclusive prints, and as a Minerva Ambassador, I had the opportunity to get my hands on them a little early and start sewing them up! You guys know I love a fun print, especially a floral, so as you might guess, I was so excited. The new exclusive line of prints has something for everyone, I think – I had a hard time narrowing my own selection, and although I was very fortunate to get to work with my three favorite prints from the first release, there were many others I would’ve been thrilled to sew with! There were also some that didn’t fit my personal style palette but still featured beautiful prints and colors – so really, go check them out. You’re bound to love something!

After those actual cheetah print Lander Shorts I made over the summer last year, I was fully on board the animal print trend – in both the classic, spotted sense, as well as the prints of actual animals version! So when this fabric popped up in a Minerva Makers call out, I was fully on board.
