The Berlin Jacket is one of my favorite patterns – I love the style lines on the pattern, I think it has a really impressive looking end result, and I don’t even have to tell anyone that it was one of the easier things I sewed this year. Or that it took me less than 2 hours. I can just humble brag that yes, I sewed my coat, and yes, I know it is awesome… And keep those other little bits to myself!

After one hundred obstacles along the way, I’m finally sharing the faux fur coat that I sewed at the close of 2019. It is perfect timing – it is finally getting cool enough that I might be able to wear this outside soon! Sewing with faux fur was so intimidating to me, but I am so thrilled to be able to say I MADE THIS COAT!
My second post with Minerva Crafts is up over on their blog today! I finally made myself a Wiksten Haori jacket, using some beautiful plaid wool. It’s the perfect coat – it is pretty, warm, and it has GIANT pockets!
