May Monthly Make My Stash – Phoenix Blouse

May was a low month for my sewjo! My husband and I painted and moved some rooms around in our house, leaving my sewing space disassembled and inaccessible.The little time I did spend sewing was mostly dedicated to re-building and re-decorating my fresh, new sewing room and sewing facial masks for my husband to wear when he ran our family errands. However, I did get one garment sewn using my chosen fabric for May #MonthlyMakeMyStash2020!! And honestly, if I only got to sew one thing, I’m definitely happy that it was this.

September / October 2019 Recap

Another Recap – and another super late post! I’m excited to look back over my September / October makes today, halfway through December. I think next year, I’ll be switching to quarterly instead of bi-monthly recaps, because I just can’t seem to keep up!! Over the two months I’m recapping today, I made 12 new garments – my three favorites were the matching outfits I made for our family for our tiny girl’s first birthday! I did more “selfless” sewing over this period than usual, and also did a little scrap busting by sewing up a headband out of some leftover leggings fabric. I didn’t include any photos here, but that has probably been my most worn item from this period!

First Easter Mama / Mini Outfits

Okay, okay – YES, I know that Easter was almost 4 months ago!! So why in the world am I bringing you a post about Easter outfits today, in August? I had the pleasure of making our first Easter outfits as a mama and mini matching set out of some absolutely lovely fabric gifted to me by Minerva Crafts!
